Men’s Health Supplements

Men’s health issues are on the rise, yet they are less well recognised, and not talked about enough. Men’s supplements come with lots of different promises. Active energy & vitality. Enduring staying power. Ripped & buff body. Feel younger. Fitness gains. Muscle recovery. Prostate health.

Which multivitamin to choose?

If you’re a guy, there are a few micronutrient must-haves to keep in mind when you choose supplements.

1. Zinc

An essential antioxidant helpful in maintaining healthy prostate, male sex organs and urinary function, male hormone levels, cell growth, immunity, and protein synthesis.

2. Creatine

An essential amino acid which provides a burst energy, increased strength, or endurance, which improves muscle growth, recovery, or performance, particularly in short-duration, high-intensity resistance exercises or workouts, sports, and activities.

3. Fatty acids

Omega-3 is also a powerful antioxidant and can help protect the body from premature ageing, oxidative stress, free radicals, and external aggressions.

4. Ginseng

It is considered a tonic or male stimulant and an adaptogen that boosts physical, mental, and emotional performance, promotes vitality, and hormonal balance.

5. Saw Palmetto

Studies and experts have noted that saw palmetto exhibits both antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effect which may help reduce associated urinary symptoms and enlarged prostate, as well as support healthy fertility and reproductive function.

5. Antioxidants

Vitamins A, C, E, K, the B-complex vitamins, as well as minerals like magnesium, zinc, selenium, and copper are essential micronutrients needed for cell growth, development, and repair.

Unfortunately, when it comes to health there isn’t a quick fix. There are a few other factors that men need to consider when it comes to staying healthy including getting proper nutrition, sleep, exercise, relaxation, and adequate hydration. It’s also important to ensure you limit smoking, alcohol, and stress levels.
